Last Thursday, November 22nd, the ceremony of the I Potencia Awards for Public Works and Civil Engineering was held at the Palace Hotel in Madrid. An event sponsored by Telefónica and chaired by Mr. Luis Armada Martinez Campos, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Community of Madrid, which was attended by machinery manufacturers, importers, builders and rental companies.
The first edition of the Potencia Awards for Public Works and Civil Engineering Machinery 2007 was a great success, with more than 160 guests, including the main executives of the participating companies and the members of the jury. Also were in the cremony top representatives of the construction and rental companies, as well as members of the board of directors of TPI Edita, the publisher of Potencia magazine, headed by its CEO, Mr. José Luis Prado García; the company’s management team, the public relations department and the publication’s sales and editorial team.
The ceremony, held in the Medinaceli room of the Palace Hotel, was preceded by a dinner for all the attendees, after which the jury’s decision was announced (the winners are listed below).
